Poker Tournament Software Tips

  • Use the Custom Message feature to let your guests know about your next tournament. You can access the custom message feature from the Advanced area of tournament setup.
  • Allow chip Add-ons only during breaks by setting the levels allowed to the level before and after a break.
  • For home games, use the House Fee box to collect money for pizza and beer.
  • You can display your tournament on a TV. Most newer computers, especially laptops, have an s-video output. Connect the s-video directly to your TV if your TV has an s-video input, or purchase a converter from s-video to RCA.
  • Press the View button and select View Options to change the screen being viewed or to adjust the screens included in the rotation. To change colors or other appearance options press the View button and then select Appearance.
  • You can export tournament information to spreadsheets or other programs. Press Export and then select the type of export desired – Tournament Manager Report, the Player list with Results, or the Player list with names and demographic info. When prompted, enter a file name and press OK. The data will be saved as a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file, which is readable by word processors and spreadsheets.
